Description
High Vacuum Grease Manufacturers & Suppliers in India
High Vacuum Grease compound is stiff non-melting grease like Silicone material. It maintains its consistency over a wide temperature range of –400C to 2500C. Its low volatility, very low vapour pressure of the base, chemical resistance, relatively constant consistency over wide temperature range sealing ability, make it an ideal sealant for high vacuum and high-pressure systems and sealant-cum-lubricant for chemical processing equipment. High Vacuum Silicone Grease manufacturers, suppliers, and exporters in Mumbai, India to all countries from 1995 with assured safety and security.
Application:
As a sealant and lubricant for glass-ints and stopcocks in high vacuum and high-temperature systems as well as in ordinary systems.
In pressure-lubricated plug valves, control valves, and ceramic plug cocks.
In Valves of the water softener.
In fire extinguishers to keep the valves dependably operable for a long period despite severe temperature conditions and corrosive atmosphere.
As a sealant on floating telephone batteries.
Its high tack may be taken advantage of, in holding rubber and other parts in position during assembly of certain parts.
As a release agent for epoxy, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, polyester resins, and other plastics. Normally it is used only when common release agents including other silicone release agents fail.
Chemical Resistance:
HVG has been found to be resistant to dilute aqueous acids, alkalis, and other inorganic salt solutions. It is unaffected by most vegetable and mineral oils. Many organic compounds and common gases.
Solubility:
HVG compound is not soluble in water, methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, acetone glycol, and glycerin. However, it can be dispersed in kerosene, benzene, toluene ethyl ether, carbon tetrachloride, petroleum ethers, and methylene chloride or perchloroethylene.
